    1) The content offered on this blog covers a wide variety of topics, from job security to education and how it relates to economics. There is something for just about everybody.
    2) The appearance of this blog is colorful and easy to look at. It is also very easy to read, with black on white and in an easy to read font.
    3) The website is very easy to navigate. You can look at old posts easily and can search by key word. The bar on the right side is also very easy to use and is very convenient.
    4) Because of the different topics and different authors and personalities, there is no apparent bias.

    blogs.wsj.com/economics/
1 ) This blog, since it's run by Wall Street Journal, is very accurate and covers the current events of economics quite well. There are a lot of reports on jobs and oil prices, etc. It is very up to date.
    2) This blog has a nice appearance; the layout is nice and is very easy to read. The font differentiation between the article and the headline is also a nice feature. I like the pictures, too.
    3) This blog is very easy to navigate. The tags to the side as well as the dates and times the articles were posted is a very good feature. The top also sorts the categories so if you wanted to find a specific topic, you could just look up in the categories.
    4) I think this blog is a little biased towards the liberal side. While it is not extreme, some of the topics discussed are more liberal, but because it is news, most articles are facts with some commentary thrown in

    China's Economic Blog: http://china-economics-blog.blogspot.com/
1.)A place to find news, observations, statistics, information on undergraduate (BSc and BA economics) postgraduate (MSc economics) and academic analysis of important issues for China's economy including economic growth, inequality, stockmarket, shares, exchange rates, the environment, foreign direct investment, WTO and much more
2.)Pretty organized and each post is on a different thing about china's economy. Font varies and the background is too dark so the color of the font is somewhat hard to see. Overall, it's just an "okay" blog.
3.)Everything is pretty short and simple, links are easy to find and clock on, it isn't a endless scrolling blog that you would dread. Simply short and simple.
4.)Due to since it is a "global economy blog" this specific blog is only bias for just China's economy and towards this "Hukou system" that has been established.

    Japan Economy Watch: http://japanjapan.blogspot.com/
1.)Analyzing the merely the cons of Japan's economy and population.
2.)Unlike the blog listed above, this blog is a dreadful endless scroll. Font is easy to read, but everything seems pretty clustered together.
3.)Links are listed on the right side, there's so many links that you can easily pick and choose which link to go on, but there's probably too many links...
4.)This blog is more against the economy of Japan and it's population. It's not really looking at the OVERALL economy and population, but the downfalls and the bad things of it.

    http://blogs.ft.com/economistsforum/
    1. This blog describes how the world economy is lagging behind schedule to recover for various reasons including low interest rates and how to recover like the Federal government should buy stocks rather than bonds.
    2. The latest blogs are located at the top to give the viewers the latest information and the scrolling up and down like checking news feed is more convenient than waiting for the next page to load.
    3. Navigation is simple because the content of the blog is all on one page. Only part of each post is displayed to compact all of the posts together which is beneficial.
    4. Although solutions to recovery are present, the blogger remains pessimistic and blames world governments for the majority of the world's problems.

    http://marginalrevolution.com/
    1. The blog is about making the world a better place through small actions that everyone can preform such as avoiding too much of anything since even too much of a good thing can be bad.
    2. The contrast of the black lettering against the white background is easy to read and the color scheme of white, black and turquoise is fun to look at.
    3. Like all blogs, everything fits onto one page, but the fact that the viewers can further their interests in certain blogs through Facebook, Twitter and Reddit is great.
    4. In comparison of certain topics that compare personal preferences, the blogger spends a considerable chunk of the blog post about his personal preference and ideal values and not society's.

    Economistsdoitwithmodels.com

    1) Very boring content :( It's economics, WHATCHA GONNA DO, am I right? But this blog actually does a good point of dumbing it down and translating everything to English. I liked how they actually restated the case of gender pay inequality instead of just diving into the opinion basis and assuming I'm already an expert.
    2) Awesome appearance :) cute girls on the site teaching microeconomics, some inappropriate logo at the top :) what's not to like?
3)Their comp sci guys knew what they were doing. It's decently easy to navigate around. There's a search bar. I give it a 6. *shrugs*
4)So much bias towards microecon being some sort of mystical force. They make jokes about not really understanding concepts based on their data, more like they are clear that data does not mean 100% causation. I like that. :)

    angrybearblog.com

    1) Okay first off, angry bear?? I mean come on. I know that the bear means a stagnant market. but come on. That's just silly. Okay, so first off. Their articles are either straight on point, high class economics or it's really silly stuff. I personally don't like this because you're assuming that there are really dumb people on the site and really intelligent people. Let's try to make the dumb people smarter by easing their way into it. Have everything. have a happy world. I love you Mr. Pye.
    2) The site looks terrible. I mean, try adding some colors. .Seesh. It doesn't cost anymore. There aren't even any bears.
    3) They actually have some good categorical links and a search bar so i give it a 7
    4) this blog doesn't have any apparent bias, but they do get really mad at hypocrites. I think that's just a form of human nature though. Go bear.

    1. This blog gives information about economics from the economist.
    2. The words are clear and easy to read, and it looks quite professionally done.
    3. It's easy to scroll down the article, but should probably include more pictures to make it more engaging.
    4. No apparent bias, seems to be straightforward and stating facts and ideas.

    http://www.ritholtz.com/blog/
    1. Content is pretty interesting. It's cool how it talks about science alongside finance.
    2. Very nicely laid out. Colors are vivid, but it could also use a few more pictures to liven it up a bit.
    3. Easy to navigate through each section, and content is very organized and simple. Nothing is very complicated about it.
    4. There is not any significant bias. The entries are straightforward thoughts on different economic issues.

    1. This site talks about a variety of things, from things like Greece's economy to things like Wisconsin's budget proposal
    2. The site is a basic blue and white site and they sort of just keep it simple
    3. It is easy to navigate the site because they categorize each post by category and date making things easy to find
    4. I dont see any apparent bias on this site

    http://www.wallstreetexaminer.com/blogs/winter/
    1. This blog talks about a number of different topics, some concerning Wall Street and good investment opportunities and others concerning things like the mining collapse in South Africa. A lot of the posts seem to relate to precious metals and whether or not to invest in them
    2. The site looks nice and it is kept simple and easy to navigate. There is also a widget for his twitter feed that is nice
    3. All the posts on the site are categorized in different topics and it is easy to go through all the posts
    4. There is a bit of bias toward precious metals and how they are a good investment, but other that that there is nothing else

    Economics Help: http://www.economicshelp.org/blog/
    1. Though this blog is long, it takes most of the important stuff in our econ. text book and squeezes it all into a blog. Basally a form of economic spark notes.
    2. The blog has a simple appearance but helps get the message across. It is full of graphs and examples, but nothing out of this world.
    3. Fairly organized and you can make your way around it quite well, except for the fact that you will need to know some basic economics to understand half the stuff on it.
    4. I can't tell a direct bias to this blog, since it uses sources from all over the internet, while just simplifying economics.

    Cafe Hayek: http://cafehayek.com/
    1. This blog has a large variety of information which is somewhat confusing, since it has things ranging from things like governmentalization, to just quotes.
    2. It isn't the prettiest site out there, but it made its attempt with a cartoon and a little color.
    3. Navigation is rather difficult in this site since it has no real organization other than the fact that it organizes the quotes with the blog.
    4. The bias I found proved to be rather conservative since the author did not agree with many subjects known to be as "liberal", like governmentalization.

    Environmental Economics http://www.env-econ.net/
    1. This blog covers the Earth's environmental issues and how it links to economics along with the issue of limited resources and natural resources.
    2. The blog's appearance is quite busy with posts and links everywhere. The cover image could be nicer and more colorful.
    3. There are lots of links everywhere to different posts which is both a pro and con. The links sort posts by category which is nice.
    4. This blog does not have a direct bias since it covers both sides on the environmental issue. As it states, when it comes to environment the only two sides are either being a tree hugger or a corrupt capitalist.

    Dollars & Sense Blog http://dollarsandsense.org/blog/
    1. This blog covers many aspects of economics such as activism and the issue of media's coverage of economy. It also covers many various economic topics.
    2. The blog looks simple and yet very nice. It's simplicity is pleasing to the eye and easy to read in terms of text and links.
    3. The navigation is fairly easy with very straightforward links. It's simplicity makes it easy to navigate and hard to get lost.
    4. The blog's bias is more on the democratic and radical side. It does, however, touch on both sides of the issues it blogs about.

1). Content- It was kind of sort of boring reading through some of the blogs posted by Greg Mankiw. Despite its lack of interesting-ness, it did provide good amount of information about current update on different parts of our economy. What I found amusing was that his posts came through as very personal and as if he was just having a normal conversation with another behind the screen, feeding them with all sorts of news of the economy.
2). Appearance- It is very simple, with a white back ground and LOTS of words.
3). Ease of Navigation- It is very easy to navigate because on the side bar, he offers many useful links, previous posts and advice for students. Everything is easy to get to since he links essays or other important articles he wishes his followers to read.
4). Apparent Bias- There is not any significant bias. The entries are straightforward thoughts on different economic issues.

    http://globaleconomydoesmatter.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2011-05-15T14:34:00-07:00&max-results=2
1). Content- Unlike the blog above, I actually found this one very interesting. This blog provided VERY insightful information on the global economies. Edward Hugh provides his followers support with a lot of statistical references to make all his points accurate. He ensures to his followers that it is important to be educated about other economies, not just the one from where you live, because other economies have impacts on each other.
2). Appearance- When I first opened up to the link, the first thought that came across my mind was that it looked very professional and educational. Since it offers many graphs and charts, it just comes through as educational.
3). Ease of Navigation- It is pretty good. It was not hard to browse through the blogs. But it could most certainly be improved.
4). Apparent Bias- Similar to the other blog, this one did not have any sense of bias in it. It was straightforward with facts and supporting ideas.

I Will Teach You To Be Rich:
1.The blog had a bit of advice on some things to consider while choosing a job and saving/making money.
    2. It's simple, which is nice. The bright yellow attracts your attention to what he wants you to click.
    3. The blog is fairly simple to navigate because there're labels everywhere.
    4. I didn't really note a bias. But he definitely wants you to read his book. The pop-ups asking for my email to receive his book eventually got VERY ANNOYING. If I wanted it emailed to me, I would've filled out the thing for it on the page that opened up when I first clicked the link.

    Oikos:
    1. The blog has a lot of articles/ posts, but they relate mostly to how environmental laws and policies interact with the economy.
    2. It looks like a teacher's blog, sort of, and it is also on the simpler side. This blog is a yogurt.
    3. This blog is fairly simple to navigate as well. The labels on the side allow you to search for things more specifically.

    http://japanjapan.blogspot.com
    1. The content of this blogspot is solely focused around the markets in Japan. It really goes in depth about Japanese economic goals, and the methods by which these goals are achieved.
    2. Its appearance is really boring and all words and very few pictures. It's a really plain website.
    3. It is pretty average navigation and it has numerous links on the side that distract from the main page itself.
    4. It doesn't really have a bias because all it really does is state facts. It is just a blog stating facts about the Japanese government and the Japanese economy.

    http://www.nytimes.com/pages/health/policy/index.html?partner=rss
    1. the content is actually a wide range of different blogs covering numerous topics about money and policy. It has alot of good information on how to keep track of the money rolling through the people and through the government.
    2. It looks like a redirect page that will take you to other sites, because all it has on this page are links.
    3. It is really easy to navigate because of all the links and because all the links have their topics accompanying them.
    4. No bias at all on this page, because it isnt really stating anything besides different links.

    Ecology and Economics (http://forestpolicy.typepad.com/ecoecon/)
    1) Talks about problems that the economy and ecology has at this moment, it also talks about the interaction that economy and ecology has between them two.
2)It´s really wide, there is a lot of words that are underlined, and if you click them they send you somewhere else, but other than that its pretty nice
3)It´s really easy to find the stuff that is on the website because there is a right column where all the subtitles are and if you click them they pop up wherever you need.
4)It has a lot of videos as "learning mode". It shows you information from other sites or people that was already published

    Planet Money (http://www.npr.org/blogs/money/)
    1) It has different articles that explain in some type of way anything of ecomony and their process to adquire money, it has a lot of background about how, what, when and why of certain stuff.
2)It looks very organized, I like this type of websites when you can see all the information that they have but still understand that they might have different topics or articles in a certain place.
3)It´s really easy to navigate, everything is in subtitles, if you are interested in one article (or episode) then you can click on it and take you somewhere else where they show all the information
4)It has a lot of history and actual data that can be trusted, it has so many different articles with the date in which they are published and its really interesting.

    1) The content is just like the title presents, the creator blogs about different topics that relates to European countries. Some post are dense and difficult to read, especially if the topic is addressing locations around the globe that are not commonly known.
    2) The appearance is pleasant and has a decent appeal to readers. Each tab has a different cover picture that pops up so I think that is a nice addition.
    3) The navigation is very simple and you can tell the blogger does post frequently. To view old post is not that difficult.

    http://delong.typepad.com/sdj/across-the-wide-missouri/

    1) The content on this website is very different and weird. The blogs that are posted do not have a set theme. It just seems like the blogger is posting what he feels is interesting for the day.
    2) The appearance is really old school. The website does not have an appealing look that would make me want to return to read more material.
    3) Navigation on the site is pretty difficult because there is soo much stuff on one page and the labels of each new page are not clear.

  18. The Anti-Becket-Posner Blog (http://www.anti-becker-posner.blogspot.com/)
    1) Content: The blogs explain the views of Becker and Posner on topics and then explain why they are wrong.
    2) Appearance: The theme is banal: the whole background is black while the font is white
    3) Ease of Navigation: It's simple. The amount of scrolling needed is a bit excessive because of the lack of tabs, but I suppose the search bar at the top compensates for it.
    4) Apparent Bias: This is definitely biased against the Becker-Posner-Blog. If you didn't notice that from the content, it says at the top of the page "A Blog Devoted To Correcting The Mistakes, Omissions, And Downright Nonsense On The Becker-Posner-Blog."

    Deal Professor (http://dealbook.nytimes.com/category/deal-professor/?_r=0)
    1) Content: this site contains blogs about the most recent takeovers.
    2) Appearance: the theme is simple and straightforward.
    3) Ease of Navigation: There are multiple tabs to help you find what you need and also a search bar.
    4) Apparent Bias: the blogs seem unfavorable toward mergers and acquisitions

    2. The website has a very nice appearance and is very appealing to look at visually even if it feels like the millions of other blogs out there.
    3. The website is actually pretty easy to navigate through as it has stocks of archives where people can easily find many sources of information.
    4. The blog seems to be a neutral, news reporting like website.

1.)This website talks about foreign economics, nothing eye-catching or news breaking about any of its content.
2.)There is nothing appealing about the website, nothing stands out, the web-designer didn't even bother to change the background from the default of white.
3.)There is no search bar and the articles are clustered together, it has bad organization
4.) The blogger is very obvious about being bias towards a specific side. She even notes "I have always had a problem with Goldman Sachs".

    http://10qdetective.blogspot.com/

1.The blogger talks about domestic and foreign news, there is some variety in its content considering he includes videos.
    2. The appearance of this website is slightly better than the previously stated one above. Still, nothing noteworthy or outstanding.
    3. The navegation is not much of an improvement from the previous, the only difference is that this author has links for readers to click on. Again, no search bar, however I think it's mediocre.

    2. The blog uses far too many shades of blue and red which is kinda distracting.
    3. There are far too many side links which make navigation confusing.
    4. Because the blog most consists of reporting numbers, graphs, and quotes, there is no apparent bias.

    1. The content on this website is mainly focused on solar energy and other random things.

  22. Dr. Housing Bubble
    1) Content- it's all about the housing market in the U.S. and aims to provide a candid account of it.
    2) Appearance- it's actually kind of calming with the ease of soft colors of blue and white it uses. It makes it seem informative, especially since their are very ads bombarding me (only below the tabs). It is pretty straight forward. The dark blue catches the eye to the sight title and leads it to the white of the easy to read articles.
    3) Ease of Navigation- it's actually quite simple in how posting does not take much time or struggle like this website. It is organized by most recent post that is very up to date as of before the weekend began. It's very easy to read.
4)Apparent Bias- The only bias that their could possibly be is how it mostly focuses on the demand side and then the supply side. It also only talks about the U.S, housing market as if the foreign ones aren't part of the bubble.

    Fly Bottle
1)Content- it is basically about this one guy who is a writer in Houston posting articles and then mostly blogs about his economic life and how he has been starving to blog about all of this.
2)Appearance- I actually think it looks kind of pretty in how the band at the top is lavender try branches on top of a splotchy white background. That could be considered calming. However, either my computer sucks, or he deleted his Home page that is the first thing a viewer will see. The page says it doesn't exist, but the rest of his blog does.
    3) Ease of Navigation- it's very boring in how it's all about his discoveries and so forth. Their are only so many things to click on, so of course the navigation is irritatingly easy, but its very vague and seems odd. I feel his article tab is his works cited page. They're all links, except his blogs that are only a couple of sentences that no one can comment on. It's pointless, just like the suggestion of the site's name.
    4) Apparent Bias- he spelled writer wrong. It's not supposed to have an added on er. He hasn't updated his blog since before Christmas of last year, and his latest article was from 2011. He's kind of out of date. He's brief.

1)Content- Just as the name suggest, this blog mainly focuses on capital gains, president budget, national debts, and the guy's opinions about the issues.
2)Appearance- The appearance seems like one of the free templates that weebly gives out. It's rather kind of boring. The social media links on the bottom of each post is distracting and ugly.
    3) Ease of Navigation- There is not much organization than the "go back" arrow and archives in the main menu box.
    4) Apparent Bias- This man is very Republican because he seems to bash on Obama's administration and his budget system. A lot of his post are responses to budget decisions and capital issues.

1)Content- There are a range of content from Same sex marraige, to feminism issues, to Medicare. Because it is connected with the news in general rather than just economics.
2)Appearance- Again, because this is connected with Times, the appearance is extremely clean and crisp like the news pages. Personally, I like it.
    3) Ease of Navigation- It's fairly easy to navigate through the articles. The newest ones are on the top, and on the left there is a tab where articles are organized by the topics (health, econ, sports business.)
    4) Apparent Bias- There are multiples authors, so the bias is relatively diverse.

Let's Fly Under the Bridge & Crossing Wallstreet

#1: Let's Fly Under the Bridge
1)Content: The blog entries by Roland Patrick focus on daily events/economic news, where he reports them, while giving a few side comments of his own, adding humor and condescending thoughts on the event. The topics range from news about the automobile market to government involvement in business.
2)Appearance: The blog is very simple with a clean, white design. It's not exactly eye-catching, but it is pleasant to look at.
3)Ease of Navigation: There is a side bar with links to the different months and the titles of blog entries, which make it easier for the readers to find what they want to read about. However, it does not exactly separate the blog entries by topic, which causes readers to look through each potentially interesting blog entry before finding one they like.
4)Apparent Bias: There is a slight bias in Roland Patrick's blog entries because he reports economic news from the standpoint of an American, being affected by economic disasters or boosts. Whether he is directly affected or not, he still reports it in a way that he shows his thoughts if the economic event did directly affect him.

    #2: Crossing Wallstreet
1)Content:The blog entries focus on everything about the stock market like predicting trends and analyzing the top companies on the NASDAQ, S&P 500, and Dow Jones. It offers advice and tips on conquering the stock market and everything wallstreet.
2)Appearance: The blog is bland and simple, but it achieves its purpose of putting the information out right at the homepage. The simplicity of the color scheme allows readers to draw their attention to the content.
3)Ease of Navigation: The website groups up its blog posts by monthly archives, which is convenient, but not by topics. So, readers would still need to search to find particular information.
4)Apparent Bias: There is a bias because the writer is giving information about companies and their stocks based on his own intellect and experience. So, while he is studying the facts, he is making his own judgement and opinions.

4.Apparent Bias: Although evidence is used to support claims, the bloggers obviously have a chip on their should toward government bodies.

    4. Apparent Bias: I found no bias, just someone giving financial advice on how to make it through the economic struggle America has been facing.

    1. The blog contains information about economics worldwide rather than just in the United States, which is interesting because we can compare countries with the information given here. Also, the posts are short, simple, and easy to understand.
    2. I like the appearance of this blog; with every post, the blogger adds a picture or a video to it. The text is black and the background is white, and the separate links are light blue. So it’s simple but I like it.
    3. I reeaaally like the navigation on this website. You just scroll through pages using the arrows at the bottom of the page and the top has all the extra things you might need.
    4. No apparent bias

    http://www.scsuscholars.com/
    1. This blog has posts mainly about economic policy.
    2. The appearance is really plain, it’s alright, but It’s really just text. The title of each post is in red, separate links are blue, and the rest of the text is black.
    3. The blog is easy to navtigate and there’s archives on the right side.
    4. It is biased toward the liberal side

    1. Mostly focuses on supply and demand tactics in the current market, especially having to do with the oil fluctuations lately.
    2. The appearance is very simple; it looks like a Weebly page with a less-than decent header picture, but everything else is moderately clean looking.
    3. It's pretty easy to navigate around; the links are clear and there's an archive and subject divisions that lead to different areas of the blog.
    4. No apparent bias.

    https://mises.org/blog
    1. It's an Austrian blog, so it contains lots of articles about Austria's economy. But it also has many blogs about the US's economy, mainly regarding the failures of our economy or governmental systems pertaining to the economy.
    2. It's a really pretty blog. Everything is sleek and made in complementing colors, and everything is an appropriate size, with occasional graphics that make the page not boring to look at.
    3. Each article has its own thumbnail graphic, which is pretty cool, and that makes it really easy to tell where the articles are and navigate through them.
    4. Seems biased against America; it's very critical of the way our economy is set up.

1)The content of this site focuses on the business aspect of economics. It's a good site for aspiring entrepreneurs/businessmen.
    2) The old blog was really colorful and nice, but his new site seems to be a bit bland. it's much more professional however, with the black and white color scheme.
    3) There is no easy way to sort through previous blog posts, which means that it's a subpar layout.
    4) He does a good job at being objective and unbiased on his topics. It's unfortunate that the blogs are not too interesting unless you're very invested in the topic at hand.

    http://www.prospect.org/blog/beat-press
    1) The content focuses on current events in the economic stratosphere. The blog is a good source for keeping up to date on various economic topics.
    2) The appearance is very basic and not too appealing. The white and red color scheme is professional, but nothing too special.
    3) There is no easy way to access the previous blogs from earlier, so the layout could be better.
    4) The blog does a good job of presenting topics objectively.

Content: Basically, this is his personally database. I am not sure we any of us would care enough to visit often, but everything on here caters to his needs working as an economist.
Appearance: Not bad, a little simplistic, I don't expect much from a economics blog so this is just about what I was expecting
Navigation: Is fine, no big issues that stick out.
Bias: There is some bias, it is all useful information that pertains to his studies

    http://economiclogic.blogspot.com/
Content: Good content. Not very active anymore. Focused on economics being everywhere. Think outside the box.
Appearance: What the hell kind of website is this? Literally the main portion is less than 1/3 of my screen size and the rest is some brown shitty theme covering the screen. Also, what is up with the color? the choice of yellow makes it look like some guy literally took this website pissed all over it. 2/10
Navigation: Not to my taste, it could have been done better but it does the job.
Bias: I can't tell much bias mainly because I don't know the sides of things when it comes to economics but tbh it looks like this guy just got on whenever he was blazed and said whatever the hell he felt like saying.
