Review two blogs from this list of the 200 best blogs for economics students. Make sure they are from different categories, and don't repeat one that someone else has already done. Yes I realize that this means you will have to check the previous posts to see which ones have already been reviewed. The sooner you do this one the easier it will be. Reviews need to include:
1) Content
2) Appearance
3) Ease of Navigation
4) Apparent bias
http://www.onalytica.com/blog/posts/top-200-most-influential-economics-blogs/
Blog #1: Paul Krugman
ReplyDeletehttps://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/
1) Content
I'd rate the content a 9.5/10. He does a very good job going in depth on the numbers (such as his "Trump's Rosy Scenario" post) and presenting them in a simple yet effective graph format. The only thing that isn't quite enough is that he seems to like copying and pasting a lot of other graphs; while that is nice and all, the best of the best economists find unique trends in data to present new findings.
2) Appearance
I'd give it a 10/10. The NYT does a good job with their appearances, but nevertheless the blog looks very nice. It's much more appealing to the eye than this one. ;-)
3) Ease of Navigation
I'd give the navigation a 9/10. It is very nice and easy to scroll through his posts in a chronological order, but it would be nice if there was a side bar to view posts by months.
4) Apparent Bias
He's a liberal. The book on the side "The Conscience of a Liberal" should be enough to attest to that. He's also very Keynesian in his approach, which tends to be a liberal thing.
Blog #2: Economist's View (Mark Thoma)
http://economistsview.typepad.com/
1) Content
The blog's content is simply stupendous. Thoma goes out of his way to present quality quotes from great sources (like the Economic Journal) and digs deep to find the numbers needed for interesting trends, such as the one I will be mentioning later on. Economics, when it comes down to it, is about the numbers, and he does a great job at that.
2) Appearance
I'd give the appearance a 9/10. The blog posts themselves look nice, but the sidebar looks very crude. It serves the blog well for navigation, but it would be nice if the sidebar had better fonts or something of the sort.
3) Ease of Navigation
The blog gets a perfect 10/10 on navigation because all of the posts are on the side bar to check ones that may have been missed.
4) Apparent Bias
Thoma seems to have a slight liberal bias, but by and large his posts are very informational and fact-based. He has stated that liberal Presidents leave office with growth whereas conservative ones leave office with recessions.

ReplyDeleteBlog #3: Marginal Revolution
Content: The maker, Tyler Cowen, of this blog takes stories that he finds interesting and posts them on there with a link to the website in which he found this information. Then he asks for people's opinion on the topic in his blogs and see what people post. One of the links is Mondays assorted links which includes multiple links to different websites he wants to see what people think about.
Appearance: It looks good I guess. I think it looks like a regular website but it is organized.
Ease of Navigation: Navigation for this blog is super easy and it has links embedded in a lot if the facts so it is easy to find where those facts are coming from.
Apparent Bias: It is a bit different topics like they are very scattered but they are relevant in at least some part of the world.
Blog #4: Brad Delong
Content: The content of this blog is based almost entirely about things happening in the United states. It is very negative about the current stance of america. It focuses a lot about Trump and his first 100 days as president.
Appearance: It looks good as a website, it has pictures which are nice and it has dates and topics you would be able to notice from the news.
Ease Of Navigation: The problem with this website is that you have to scroll quite a bit to get to the actual blogs. and it also offers links to go view certain in formation pertaining to the argument.
Apparent Bias: The topics are more focused in america and something that might affect us as citizens and is a little more elaborate than the other blog page I visited.
Blog#5 :Greg Mankiw's
ReplyDeleteContent: I rate the content a 9/10 . He does a good job in explaining his points in an organized manner.
Appearance: 3/10. The appearance is very dull and plain not really eye catching.
Ease of navigation:10/10. The navigation is very easy with dates on them and in chronological order.
Apparent bias: he's an apparent republican as he expresses how he argues with trumps choices.
Blog#6: Econbrowser
Content: I rate the content a 5/10. He does well explaining to a certain extent his blogs are very short and mostly invoke long quotes from a different source without an explanation.
Appearance: 4/10. The blogs appearance is once again very dull and plain to the eye .
Ease of navigation: 9/10 . It's very easy to navigate the different blogs by date and time.
Apparent bias : there wasn't really any apparent bias.

Blog #7: Naked Capitalism "Understanding the Global Role of the US Economy"
Content: i would rate this 9.5/10. Yves Smith explained really well why he thinks US plays an important part in the Global economy, gave examples to support his claim, and used visual graphics to connect the economies of the world to the movement of capital.
Appearance: 8/10. the order of his blog was neat.
Ease of Navigation: 8.5/10. It was alright since the blog would be shown at the bottom when you click the links
Apparent bias: He is an American giving opinion about Capitalism.
Blog #8 Think Progress
Content: 6.5/10. The content expresses cultural diversity in Grammy's award ceremonies. the author states that "only 32 African Americans, 10 Latinos, and eight openly gay people won Academy Awards as of 2016" which is far less this year than previous years. She says that any minority accomplishment with “political correctness” is to say that no success and ever since Trump's presidency people have become openly racist.
Appearance: 9/10. it was neatly written with large font.
Ease of Navigation: 5/10. it was pretty confusing because i had to link on different links to choose a blog.
Apparent bias: Its probably written from a point of view of a fan and a non- supporter of Trump

ReplyDeleteBlog #21
Content: Half a dozen professionals, including a tax law expert, a historian, PhDs in economics, business consultants and financial professionals provide perspectives on the financial world.Topics include world trade, industrial production, U.S. Government programs, and major regulatory issues.
Appearance: It looks quite plain really; white backgrounds and classic black text font indicate not much effort was put into aesthetic appeal.
Ease of Navigation: There are lots of headings and color coding to organize the articles, and they can even be sorted by author.
Apparent bias: The creator stated that he created the blog in 2003 to reflect his frustration with the state of the economy and country.
Blog #20: Economic Policy Institute
Content: EPI sees themselves as a think tank for the common worker, and most of their content revolves around how current events affect everyday pay.
Appearance: Splashes of color and images here keep it from being entirely dull.
Ease of Navigation: Lots of headings and subheadings make it simple to find what you're looking for.
Apparent bias: The language used here favors the working lower and middle class.
Period 4
ReplyDeleteBlog #13 (Calculated Risk)
1) The content of the calculated risk blog is pretty good. It gives a good overview of all the important things currently happening in the economy as well as concise opinions and reasoning behind them. It does tend to focus on the housing market a lot though. It's also updated very frequently so there's a lot of up to date information.
2) The appearance is very crisp, however it could be a little nicer considering how popular the blog is. The website posts the blogs in sequential order so it is somewhat annoying to have to scroll around but there are quick links for certain areas so it looks pretty good.
3) The site is pretty easy to navigate but my only complaint is that the articles are posted in order of publishing so if you're trying to find an older article it's pretty annoying and harder to do than it should be. The tabs at the top do make it easier for certain areas though.
4) Since there are 2 different authors it is kind of balanced however the guy posts a lot more so his opinion is portrayed more.
Blog #14 (Freakonomics)
1) The content on freakonomics is pretty good, it is a little biased though. The content is really spread out though and covers a wide range of topics.
2) The appearance is good too. They have snip its of all their articles and podcasts per each link so i think it's done pretty well. it's also really colorful which i think is entertaining.
3) Navigation is somewhat split because it's nice all their articles are available but it is kind of confusing having a lot of articles on one page. I like it a lot more than the other blog though because they only have a certain number of posts per page and to find older ones you need to go to a different page.
4) The blog tries to stay neutral but it definitely leans towards being liberal.

Blog #9 (Money Illusion)
1) The content of the blog seems to be interesting. It brings up a unique occurrence in several countries and expands on why its happening. It seems to be focusing on why certain countries are poorer, or richer than others despite what they score on certain economic tests.
2) The appearance is okay, it seems very bland. There is nothing special in the design that makes it stick out.
3) The site navigation is pretty easy and basic. There is a list of months you can click and go through the various articles published within those months. However it may be difficult to find a certain article during a busy month, as you have to physically scroll through the articles.
4) There didn't seem to be any bias, except the author seemed to be above all of the countries he described.
Blog #27 (Economic Principles)
1) The content is mostly well documented and discussed ideas. This blog consist of various views and ideas on the production and distribution of economic ideas.
2) The appearance is pretty basic, with a white background. They have some color within the logo, but everything else is based on simplicity.
3) The navigation is very neatly organized. The have several sections to find anything you want. They have to sets of tabs, one across the top, and another down the side. By clicking the blogs tab, it gives you list of authors and their recent posts.
4) They have various authors, and is more of a collective blog. That is why I think their isn't much of a bias.
Ronak Patel
ReplyDeletePeriod 6
Blog #165 (Miraj Patel)
1) The content of Mr. Patel's blog is actually miscellaneous. Everything posted on his blog, which is a Twitter page, really applies to everyone that follows him.
2) The appearance of this blog is very common for people that are young, politicians, or celebrities. If you use Twitter, one would know what Miraj's page would look like.
3) The navigation is very easy. All the articles, comments, or links posted are in chronological order. People who follow this man can also like and share the articles he posts with their friends, along with commenting. The articles simply need to be clicked on to read.
4) This specific blog page is run by one man. The articles he posts though are of a variety of people, therefore there is no opinions created, and anything that seems important is also posted.
Blog #122 (WTF Finance)0
1) The content one this blog page deals with anything involving business, stock markets, politics, commodities, real estate, and economic data. The articles on the main page are the most recent, or important articles to have come out.
2) The appearance of this blog is meant to attract the eyes of any of the people that may visit the site. The main articles on the home page are big pictures with small captions about the article itself. It is very organized, with specific topics on the home bar.
3) Navigation for the article is clear and stands out, allowing for easy transitions from one article to the next. There could be less ads to help the navigation.
4) This is another blog with various authors that are combined into one whole blog. This reduces certain opinions on the subject.
Joel Sibi
ReplyDeletePeriod 6
Blog #52 (John Quiggin)
1) The content of this blog is very focused on conspiracy themed subjects and is consistent of a lot of speculations on popular trends going on. The blog claims to cover Australian as well as world events from a social democratic perspective.
2) The appearance of the blog is quite bland with not much visual stimuli or anything of the sort. However, everything is quite neatly organized and arranged making it easy for any blog viewer or reader.
3)The site navigation is quite simple but effective in how its set in a chronological order and there is also many several tabs on the right hand side which include different selections of topics.
4) This specific blog is run by the man who it is named after John Quiggin. He makes every post that he does in a fashion similar to a letter or a talk with his audience. He focuses heavily on the controversial or up in the air topics. Since its his opinion and viewpoints it is as a result biased.
Blog #50 (Environmental Economics)
1) The content on this blog focuses primarily on economic's play on the environment currently and the positive or negative effects it may be having or being had on the economy due to the environment.
2)The appearance of this blog is extremely full, in that there is no space on the blog which is not sprawled with text. This in turn makes it difficult to understand and properly analyze the blog.
3) As stated above the somewhat messy style of the blog and the fact that it seems to be disorganized makes navigation something a bit problematic and difficult as well.
4) This blog contains posts about the subject at hand which is the economy and the environment's effects on each other and how they go hand in hand. However, the guy who runs the blog also seems to toss in many personal stories or joke type posts. There is bias because the author is the one who puts his view forth to the audience.

ReplyDeleteBlog #12 (Worthwhile Canadian Initiative)

2)Appearance: The appearance of this blog is very plain with a few color only in the heading area. It is very basic and not very appealing. Only other thing of color is the charts and graphs.
3)Ease of navigation: It is easy to navigate through the blog. Everything is clear but there are advertisements on the side that can mess with the navigation process.
4)Apparent Bias: The blog does not seem to have any bias because the authors have been writing about Canada for a while, and the word choice shows that they seem neutral.
Blog#86 (U.S. Food Policy)
http://usfoodpolicy.blogspot.com/
1)Content: The blog has various articles on food and nutrition. From an economic standpoint such as trading and costs, to a social view such as poverty and starving people.

Blog #28 (The Irish Economy)
http://www.irisheconomy.ie/
1) This blog provides its readers with categorized economic information for all things involving Ireland and/or how Europe's economies will affect Ireland. It is run by the Irish Economic Association.
2) This blog has a decent appearance. The all black and white with blue hyperlink color scheme appears to give this blog a sense of neatness, but could definitely use some background boxes to help separate different parts of the site.
3) This blog is easily navigated as it conveniently has a catergorized hyperlink bar on the right side.
4) This blog may have the occasional bias in a post here and there simply beacause so many people can post, and there is even the option of anonymity. Overall, this blog has little bias as it provides facts about the economy and how Ireland is being affected.
Blog #123 (Businomics)
http://businomics.typepad.com/
1) This blog offers connections between the economy and business decisions from one man who has received a Ph.D. in economics from Duke University.
2) This blog would receive a rating of one out of ten in appearance. The website looks cheap and like no one has changed its layout or color scheme or fonts since 2005.
3) This blog does not do the best job in providing its readers with easy navigation. This is due to the poor layout and appearance of the site. It is very cluttered.
4) Since only one person posts on this blog, there is an apparent bias. The doctor likes to provide articles and comment on it with his opinions.

2) The appearance of the site is really cool and simple, it is just a picture of R.G. Hawtrey. whom the the blog is in memory of and it looks like a cool background.
3)the site is very easy to access and there are two tabs one for the blog and one to tell the reader about the history of the blog and how it began.
4) There is an apparent bias, since one person is writing the blog and analyzing monetary theory and macroeconomics, but it is not only their opinion, the writer includes other articles and different prospectives.
Blog #38 (Mainly Micro)
https://mainlymacro.blogspot.co.uk/
1) The content of the page includes graphs and analysis of different ideas and the economy not just in American, but all around the world

3) Ease of Navigation- The blog has no way to find content other than scrolling though the page
4) Apparent Bias- The writers of this blog are very biased against western, organized, capitalist states.
Blog #21 Angry Bear

2) Appearance- The blog is very polished, and looks a lot like the webpages of large publications like the NYT and Huffingon Post.
3) Ease of Navigation- The website has a search feature, as well as tabs that correspond to topics in each post.
4) Apparent Bias- Most of the posts are written by a user named "New Deal Democrat."

Content: Republicans should fear not repealing ObamaCare's pre-existing-conditions rules
Appearance: Blog written by David Henderson who seems to be educated thoroughly about the subject
Ease of Navigation: The blog is easy to follow and related or other topics are on the sidebar for people who like this topic.
Apparent bias: based on personal experience and evidence the opinions of the author show a resentment towards Obamacare
Content:
Appearance: The content is the first thing you see. There are no sidebars. Looks like a freelance writer's low budget website.
Ease of Navigation: I wasn't sure if the blog I was supposed to read was on there bc they have no titles on the individual blog postings or writing excerpts.
Apparent bias: The author who lives in the ghetto is against the courts
Period 2
ReplyDeleteBlog #73: Growthology
Content: This website is for entrepreneurship research. As the premier resource for exploring entrepreneurship research, Growthology makes complex findings accessible to entrepreneurs, policymakers, media outlets, and fellow researchers.
Appearance: This website has many links to other references and pages. It has very calm and duller colors. Blue is their main color with orange and yellow highlights.
Ease of Navigation: The navigation is very simple. It has four tabs on top (home, about, meet the authors, and meet the guest authors)
Apparent Bias: The creator or creators choose who gets to write on the site.
Blog #75: Think Markets
Content: A blog of the NYU colloquium on market institutions and economic process.
Appearance: Once again the main color of this blog is blue. The highlight color is a lighter blue. And it has links to blog post that the authors have shared.
Ease Of Navigation: The navigation is very simple. It only has three tabs (home, who are we, colloquium and papers)
Apparent Bias: This blog is written by (current and former) members of the Colloquium on Market Institutions and Economic Processes at the Department of Economics, New York University. Though they say that they sometimes will differ in opinions it seems to be very rare if at all.

Blog #19: Cafe Hayek
1) Content- The blog is filled with references where he would then insert a comment about the content he referred to. I find this useful because it highlights the different perspectives that other economists would be subjected to, while also emphasizing his stance and the reason for his arguments. This enables for a greater understanding of the nuances that surround certain economic subjects.
2) Appearance- The appearance of the blog is creative as it has various illustrations of caricatures. However, the appearance doesn't really draw much attention because it lacks color.
3) Ease of Navigation- The navigation of the blog is made easier by the use of the search bar if you need to find posts from a specific day or to refer to old posts that you want to have another look over. The overall set-up is easy to navigate and has the basic set-up that you would imagine a blog to have, so nothing really threw me off.
4) Apparent bias- I think the content is very much biased and based on opinion, so it wouldn't help in terms of research to use the blog. However, if you are trying to get another's perspective on a matter, then you would see that the blog is quite enlightening.
Blog #23: The Incidental Economist
1) Content- The content of this blog consists of lengthy anf thorough analysis of economic topics that are great explanations into a more indepth perception of the writer. This content is great to use to achieve a greater understanding of recent and old topics that readers might have been curious about.
2) Appearance- The appearance is lack luster and contains very little that appeals to the eye. There is little to no effort put on the emphasis of physical impressions that the blog gives off.
3) Ease of Navigation- The ease of navigation is much like the other blog that I looked it. It has a basic set-up of a blog, with the posts being put into chronological order. There is a "recent posts" bar on the side that contributes to an easier ease of access to the latest content.
4) Apparent bias- The author seems to be very careful about expressing an apparent bias in his work and remains a third party when referring to the political subjects that come about. He emphasizes "republicans" and "democrats" as if the author is careful about separating himself from either parties.

ReplyDeleteBlog #11: The Big Picture
1) Content: The blog touches on current topics, summarizing them in short posts, and goes into depth about certain topics, supporting the posts with detailed explanations. Written in a simple writing style, both types of posts provide a variety of great content for readers to choose from depending on the time that they have to indulge in the information.
2) Appearance: The blog is attractive and, for the most part, simple. Despite the fact that there are several advertisements in the side column of the website that makes the column appear slightly disorganized, there is a gorgeous illustration in the larger header that matches the website's color theme. Green is present in the color theme, a symbol of money.
3) Ease of Navigation: The blog is easy to navigate with categories and archives in the side column to help you find your way through older posts. There are also tabs along the top, right under the header.
4) Apparent bias: The blog is more liberal. In a post titled "Trump Rules," the blogger expresses his opinion that contradicts the punny title. As he states that Trump could not rule effectively, he also mentions the fact that he should not be president because he is intolerant towards certain types of people.
Blog #24: Baseline Scenario
1) Content: The writing style and simple and, therefore, easy and quick to read and consume information. The posts are detailed with quotes, statistics, and examples.
2) Appearance: The blog, primarily in black and white, is simple and inviting.

4) Apparent bias: The bloggers lean towards liberal views. On the side columns of their blogs, their tweets and retweets criticize Republicans and speak out against President Trump.

Blog #43: A Dash of Insight
1) Content- While somewhat lengthy, none of the information is dogged out- it is all extremely relevant and useful. There is a cohesive order to his posts, and they do have a conclusion to each.
2) Appearance- although simple with a white and grey theme, it is an economics blog, not a fashion blog. So it's fine, and helps the colorful graphs to stand out.
3) Ease of Navigation- without a table of contents, you just have to scroll down and down to find the post you want. Although it is in order of the most recent to least, it can take a while. Adding a table of contents would be nice.
4) Apparent bias- doesn't seem to be any, and he makes recommendations backed up with data or personal experience.
Blog #44 China Financial Markets
1) Content- based on the Chinese market, so it has Chinese financial and economic news. There is a small summary of each article before you click on it, which is very helpful.
2) Appearance- Rocking a midnight blue, white, and grey theme, it is easy on the eyes. Perfect for an economic blog.
3) Ease of Navigation- although there is no table of contents, it is arranged into two columns in chronological order with a short summary and the title of each blog- clicking on it takes you to the full post. Very nicely organized, although again, a table of content would be extremely helpful.
4)Apparent bias- The blogger seems to want the Chinese market to do well, but that's understandable, as he probably trades on the Chinese market and wants to make money himself.

Blog #105: Questions and Observations
1) Content: The content is mostly current events about politics, governments and people's rights. His question is followed by a quote from the article he got it from. Then he writes about his view on the issue which gives enough information on the topic.
2) Appearance: the blog is simple and plain. It is organized nicely with few tabs. The background is white with the top part black. It doesn't have any graphics but looks good overall.
3) Ease of Navigation: It has tabs to help you navigate to policies and podcasts. It doesn't have links to older posts but links articles relating to the particular question.
4) Apparant bias: the author seems to be in favor of democratic ideas and for protecting individual rights.
Blog#135: Karen Grepin's Global Health Blog
1) Content: the content is mostly about global health related topics. It covers new drugs, policies and diseases that affect the world.

3) Ease of Navigation: I was able to navigate easily, it has links to previous and popular posts. It also links article in each post and tabs make it easier to navigate.
4) Apparant bias: It doesn't seem to have a bias, every post is supported by facts and since it's about global health the focus is on the world not just one country.

Blog #99
1) This blog is by a famous social analyst know named Ken Arrow, it mainly covers the thoughts of the human psyche in relation to what's currently going on in the economic world. It talks about how society feels at the moment and what sort of turns could come about through this process.
2) It's very plain and straight to the point, not in writing but in appearance. White and Blue hues paint the page, sort of like a washed off cloudy day. It's boring and not appealing to the eye, but it does get the job done.
3) Ease of Navigation: Very Easy to navigate in terms of recent events, all you have to do is scroll down. But in terms of specific events and or economic results there's not much success, this is mainly because the search bar is not that accurate.
4) The funny part about this is, the author Brandon writes about any political problems. In fact the reason why his website is so popular is because he has no bias toward any political parties, this all change when Trump became president though. Now there is clearly a more liberal view.
Blog #100
1) The funniest thing that I find about this blog is that the author stop posting as soon as Trump became president. There was consistent daily updates until end of January, now he's becoming more partial to his work. From what I've read so far he seems to be talking about mainly political aspects of the economy, albeit this could've been filled by the recent political infighting. From his previous works I see that this blog is about how money works with pure logic.
2) A very plain look, not that interesting, the usual blues and whites. I think that at this point most bloggers don't really care how their page looks aesthetically, as long as the Americans Blue and white are somewhere on the page :)
3) Like most websites it's very easy to navigate by dates, but difficult to navigate by specific topics. I enjoyed the shortened titles and summaries though.
4) Again like most logical thinkers this blog is biased towards a more liberal mind. He clearly does not support Trump nor does he care about any of trump's antics.

Blog #68: Economist do it with Models
1- The multiple articles had very interesting content about various things. For example, the first article dealt with a economic conference and gave some nice introspect on what candidates and employers have to go through during these conferences.
2- Some of the articles were nice and well written. Others not so much.
3-It was not the easiest to read and every article talked about something completely different.
4- There were a lot of biases about different topics. however most of the economists in the various articles had a very patriotic view. many wanted to deal with domestic issues before we focus on international.
Blog #2: Aid Thoughts
1- I really enjoyed the articles on this page. Some where humorous, others were quite serious and focused on some-what depressing issues. But overall it gave a lot of insight on what goes through an economists mind.
2-I really enjoyed the layout of this page. the various meme that people posted had me laughing. Overall it was a very well thought arrangements. However, I did not enjoy the click-bait articles.
3- the articles were very easy to navigate. The titles were a little long and felt like i was already reading the article. It was a lot to navigate then the previous blogs.
4-The economists in these articles were extremely open-minded and curious; one even asked to us to do a survey for him. They wanted to explore the worlds different views on economic policies.

Blog #172 Duncan's Economic Blog
1. The blog is old and the author has not posted since 2014. It was mainly active around 2011 especially in September. The homepage contains economic news daily.
2. The words are in a black font with a plain white background. It looks boring with no exciting colors or logos. It's like reading a book that is crammed into the center and goes on with other little links on the side.
3. The tabs are in a small font on the right side of the page and there is tons of scrolling. It's not the ideal navigation for a blog.
4. The author of the blog mostly talks about European economy news.
Blog #170 Macro Man
1. The blog contains posts from many users that talk about economic news of the UK. Along with the posts, there are pictures and comments.
2. It shows a picture and title of the blog with the users name on the home page. Along the top of the page, there is an organized tab with links to different pages such as "about/FAQ" and "contact".
3. The tabs and links are easy to use and have a different color background and a search button for easy navigation.
4. The bloggers have a bias towards new that contain a graph of information that talks about a person or company.

1. This blog contains research, teaching, and personal information regarding macroeconomics, labor, growth, finance, immigration, and inequality.
2. The page has a soft look to it with some kind of tree in the top left corner and links to different pages of information below and pictures of himself and his wife (I'm assuming?) on the right.
3. It is honestly pretty easy to get around his page because he has it set up in such an organized way.
4.The blogger seems to be biased towards information regarding western hemisphere information, specifically financing.
Blog #8
1. This blog contains a lot of information about Trump and part of his life and his duties as the president.
2. The blog contains a lot of pictures of Trump and his family and pictures of him in office as well as a bunch of links to what he has said and done as president and before he become president.
3. The page kind of lacks organization so you don't really know where to click, and it's a lot of random political stuff about literally just Trump.
The blogger seems to be biased about Trump and how he will actually be a good president opposed to what the common opinion of him is.

Blog: #25 Overcoming Bias
1) Content-This blog is more of a general group blog with the theme of how to move society's beliefs closer to reality, in the face of natural biases such as overconfidence and wishful thinking, and the bias to believe we as a society has corrected for such biases, when we have done no such thing. This no bs content could draw the interest of many people from all walks of life.

With a whole archive of previous post from the most popular listed at the top and then blogs by the month which made navigating around the blog a breeze.

Appearance: The appearance is simple, the only colors are cream and white with a slight pop of red in the titles of the posts. I'm not really drawn to read the blogs due to their hefty lengths.
Ease of Navigation: Navigation is easy if you're looking for posts in certain months. There is a search bar for specific key words to pull up posts that may be related to your search query. No complaints on the ease.
Apparent Bias: The bias is that he looks at things from a Britain or Australian perspective. Swift's Modest Proposal is something he highly recommends his readers read before looking at the information he comments on.
